Two years without an update. YEAH! Take that, Internet!
Ok. So here's the deal. I got tired of this web stuff so Stupidco is sort of on vacation. It will stay online but I won't be adding new stuff unless I come up with something I really like. I might post links to newer projects on the main page from time to time though.
Ron
"New" Bliss pictures. Not really new; I just haven't been interested in web crap enough lately to add things people have sent in the last few weeks.
Ron
No news to announce. You can go back to not caring now.
Ron
Valentine's Day blows. Have a nice Monday.

There's a new Wasted page. Nothing great we were just all really really bored.
Added one improved bliss that a visitor submitted.
It's 3 in the morning and I don't want to go to bed even though I feel like I'm going to pass out.
WHY AM I GETTING SO MUCH SPAM ALL OF A SUDDEN?! It seems like the volume of spam in my inbox has doubled in the last few days.
Ron
Ok...so there hasn't been an update in a while. We kind of didn't make our Christmas deadline for a large project and I've been spending time away from my computer...
Robert and Ross got bored one day and made these messed up pictures. They made me look like there's a fork growing out of my head.
I finally got around to adding some AIM buddy icons that I made a looong time ago. Take a look.
Ron
Lots of traffic lately. As of 2pm Central time we've had 51000 unique visitors and 58000 visits, served up 351000 pages, had 4 million file requests, and used 37GB of bandwidth in November. Almost all of that has been since Wednesday afternoon.
I've been trying to look at some of the places the aol throne link has shown up at and have discovered that people don't understand some of the stuff on Stupidco very well. Hunting Season is not " a cartoon of a lobster attacking a cow." It's a cartoon about a dead lemming mistaking a super hero named Kow for a deer and shooting him. Oh well.
I finally got around to posting a few images in the Stick Stuff to Your Forehead and Improved Bliss pages that have been sent in during the last few days.
And will everyone please install an antivirus! I've gotten about a dozen copies of W32.Beagle in my mailbox in the last 24 hours.

After three months of labor and an additional thirteen months of non-labor, the day has come! Today is the official unveiling of the AOL CD Throne.
***ADDITION***
We got hit hard when the throne got posted on Slashdot.org. In twelve hours we've had over 16000 "unique visitors" and more than 800000 hits and that's only the ones that made it through to the official site. I don't know how many resorted to mirror sites while the main server was bogged down with requests. Our server has sent out at least 7.5GB of data in that time. Once again, that's ONLY what my server has managed to do by itself while franticly trying to respond to all the requests.
Luckily we have unlimited bandwidth. The server apparently just couldn't keep up with the volume of requests for about 8-10 hours but that's to be expected when you can't afford a more substantial hosting solution.
Thank you for all the kind comments about the throne and to anyone who came up with mirror sites to help with the load while it was being hammered. I'm going to bed now.
***End ADDITION***
Also, a few extra pictures were recently added to the Potato Gun page. See what a potato traveling at a high velocity does to a computer's motherboard

Aaron's case is finally done and pictures are up. Former Gateway 2000
ATTENTION: Something special is coming Wednesday, November 24, 2004!
Ron
Last saturday was my twenty-first birthday. I went to my cousin's wedding, came home, and went to bed.
Voodoo Glow Skulls came through town again the other night. They do a great show. Go see them. NOW!...I don't care if they're not in your area!
I'm not even going to say anything about how irritating the elections were.
And finally a special link for a visiter that complained about the site not being updated. I thought about it a while and I think this is what she's looking for. Some porn for Annabel
Ron
This post is a little late...STUPIDCO.COM IS ALIVE!...again.
We finally finished Aaron's computer. Pictures will show up sometime soon hopefully.
Happy Halloween.
Ron
Stupidco.com will be "down" for the rest of today and maybe tomorrow. I'm working as fast as I can to get the entire site updated to the new design.
Ron
This post is the first to be entered in the new XHTML/CSS version of Stupidco.com!
Welcome to the birth of a standards compliant site. Witness the majestic beauty of compliant XHTML and CSS code from its first buggy steps to the time that it takes the place of a clunky and outdated table based layout. Or be like everyone one else and say it's just a website. I don't care.
Ron
Recent additions include the little icon thingy that shows up in the address bar and favorites area of your browser and a new wasted free time page. How I Wasted My Free Time Day #2
The site is slowly reviving. I should start redesigning it soon, but who knows when I'll feel like expending that kind of energy.
This is one of my favorite sites right now. http://electoral-vote.com I find it interesting to see how polls can swing one way or the other from day to day. It's also disappointing to see that my backwards bible belt state is firmly in Bush's grasp. Luckily we only have seven electoral votes to give him.
Ron
Not much of an update. Changed my portfolio to show that I finally took the time to get the ciw e-commerce certification out of the way to finish my Master CIW Designer cert.
After about 3 years, I've finally started working on getting Daniel's "The Story of the Lemming Migration" ready to be printed. In the end, it will be approximately 62-65 pages and so far I have about 23 mostly done. An old sample can be found here. That web page represents 2 or 3 pages of the original comic.
Ron
New Bliss backgrounds added for the first time in a quite a while.
After studying server statistics, I've discovered that Stupidco shows up as the second listing on MSN's search engine when someone searches for "local stupid inventions".
Back to the books now.
Ron
Stupidco.com is finally on a real web host after maxing out my personal webspace a long long time ago.
I've started back to school and am working on ASP.NET. I think I'm going to recreate Billdonia the way it should be using that technology at some point.
The code of this site is really horrible so it's going to get an overhaul too.
